This was an experiment in an alternative way to design and build a city council website for Birmingham.
Development has now moved to DIY Council - applying the DIY idea to every council in the UK.

Contacting the council is expensive!

We have designed this site to reduce how many times we have to contact the council via phone and email.

By some estimates it can cost up to £8 per phone call to find out information that you can easily find online.

Step 1. First - please try a search

This could save the council thousands per year.
